Jeff Fox
Jeff Fox (1963 – 2021) was born on 18th June in Redhill, the youngest child of Kathleen and Bill Fox, joining his siblings Joyce, Jane, John and Jimmy. After a brief time in Cornwall, the family moved to Bradford. Jeff trained as a nurse before working for the Vehicle Licensing Authority, the Highways Agency and later, Leeds City Council. Whilst studying for a degree in Peace Studies at Bradford University, Jeff met Claire. They were married on 27th July 2005 at Hazlewood Castle and had two children Melissa and Caitie. Jeff was a campaigner for environmental and animal rights, supporting Greenpeace and standing as a Green councillor in the local elections. He was an active supporter of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Jeff was a lifelong Chelsea Football Club supporter and from 1997 regularly attended Glastonbury Festival. He owned many dogs and cats, one of which George appeared in the first episode of Red Dwarf.
