Garry John Apps
Garry John Apps (1964 – 2022) was born in Chartham, Kent on 15th July 1964 to Fred and Jean Apps, the youngest brother of Les, Martin and Linda. He attended Chatham primary and secondary schools. Garry worked for various Estate Agents in Canterbury, as a drinks representative for United Distillers, as a ganger for Ovenden and he was Logistics Manager for Multi Services Kent (MSK). Garry had two main interests, sport and music. He was a member of the Canterbury Rugby Club for over thirty years playing and helping to run the Zingari XV. He was a life-long supporter of Spurs FC and enjoyed cricket. Garry was a self-taught pianist, guitarist and ukulele player and had an eclectic taste in music. He also enjoyed reading, baking and gardening at the family home in Bridge and at the local allotment. Garry was first married to Carrie and then to Jo, with whom he had two sons Seb and Reuben.
