Ian Leslie Picking

Ian Leslie Picking was born in Mitcham on 24th October 1947 to Moyna and Leslie, the eldest of three children.  Ian’s first job was as a telephonist working at Fanum House, the headquarters of the Automobile Association (AA) in Leicester Square.  Over the years, Ian moved from telephony into customer service, working for various large companies including BT and finally retirement from Marks & Spencer (M&S) in Canterbury.  Ian’s interests included music, wrestling and Irish pubs.  Ian was married twice, first to Wendy and then to Terry.
