Mark Broster

Mark Broster was born in Brighton Hospital on 19th August 1986 to Maralyn and Ray.  Just before going to secondary school, Mark was diagnosed with autism.  He attended St Anne’s School in Lewes followed by St John’s College, Brighton, where he was a weekly boarder.  As an adult, Mark lived in Lewes Road, Eastbourne, meeting regularly with his parents, and spending time with the family, including Ray’s wife Jane and his step-siblings Isabelle and Will.  From early childhood Mark had a view of life that had a strong sense of justice.  This resulted in him writing letters to anyone, including people in a position of authority, to express his views.  He loved his computer, both for gaming and for his insatiable appetite for learning about the world.  His family will remember him as an engaging, intelligent and knowledgeable, honest, funny, gentle and kind man.
